7:30pm Orientation sit facing in for orientation (see notes)

8:00pm Zazen (encouraging words - sit out facing wall)

9:00pm Refuges check tenken ready for exit bells, single file in to lobby. Announce 6:00am start)

FRIDAY/SATURDAY

usher people arriving/new people sign seating chart

 Doan rings big bell for opening jundo
 "please gassho as the teacher passes"
6:25 Kinhin 
6:35 Zazen announce to sit out facing wall

7:40 Service announce: prepare for service (A,B,C,or D) pass chant books, "bow from behind cushions" check doshi, doanryo

8:00 Soji lead by work leader, servers go downstairs, arrange cushions for oryoki, put out meal chant cards

8:20 Oryoki Breakfast move to your oryoki cushion, 
have Ino's meal chant card and clackers at cushion, lead meal
9:10 Break "be back by 9:55, move cushions back in place",
"clean up crew to kitchen, you can miss first zazen"


FRIDAY/SATURDAY - continued

10:00 Zazen opened by doshi and jiko   
10:30 Kinhin check and set up chairs for guests coming to talk, check that dana boxes are in lobby
10:40 Dharma Talk  (public) invite in visitors in lobby and help with seating, open and close talk with bells, "prepare for dharma talk",  thank guests for coming and ask for dana for speaker
11:30 Kinhin 
11:40 Zazen (20 minutes)

12:00 Service (Metta Sutta, p12) "prepare for service" check doshi, doanryo"servers to kitchen, pass chant books back" arrange cushions for oryoki, put out meal chant cards

12:10 Oryoki Lunch move to your oryoki cushion, have Ino's meal chant card and clackers ready,lead meal 

12:55 Break "break now, back in seat at 1:55.Oryoki training available downstairs (Friday), clean up crew to kitchen, "you can miss first zazen"

2:00 Zazen

2:30 Kinhin check and set up for guests coming to talk, check for dana boxes
2:40 Dharma Talk open and close talk with bells, "prepare for dharma talk"
