It’s seems, recently, that our nation has turned itself upside down. The recent election cycle and political events have shaken us up and exposed an extremely divided and angry underbelly. Conflict can destroy us when we lash out, and it can destroy us when we bury it.
So how do we reach across the gap and communicate with one another when feelings are running so high? Let’s explore this question over the coming weeks of Practice Period. We’ll look at and practice current models for conflict resolution, our own strategies for using them, and the art of simply listening - to both others and to ourselves.
Please join me in examining a middle way through our differences and in finding Intimacy at the Heart of Conflict.
