An intensive long day hike to the source of the Nooksack River: Nooksack Cirque. A long and strenuous hike in and out of the the Upper North Fork drainage. Half of the hike is off trail on rocky terrain. Plan on a long day, hiking at a good pace, and wearing hiking boots. At the Cirque we will perform a ritual in the sacred space of many hanging glaciers and waterfalls.

A very early start is essential to have sufficient daylight for this long day hike. Meet at the Dharma Hall for carpooling at 5:30am or at Nugent's Corner at 6:00am.

If you are unsure of your fitness for this hike please contact Bob before registering.

To come on this hike please RSVP with the registration form. Click the "Register" button to the left to start the process. There will be an opportunity during registration to make a dana offering if you choose (details on Dana Paramita here) and you may also make a dana offering at any time on the Dana page. Unlike our "indoor" retreats dana is not generally collected during the event.
