2019 Winter Practice Period - Key Dates

Details will be online soon about our annual Winter Practice Period. Practice Period is a time of more focussed and intentional practice during which we are supported by a head student (shuso) who takes on some teaching roles.

2019 Winter Practice Period main dates:

• Opening Ceremony - Wednesday January 16th
• One-Day Sesshin - Saturday February 2nd
• Shuso's class - Wednesdays January 23rd through February 20th (6pm - 6:50pm).
• Closing Sesshin - Wednesday Feb 27th through Sunday March 3rd
• Shuso's Dharma Inquiry Ceremony - Sunday March 3rd at 11am
• Introduction to Zen Meditation Class - Mondays February 4th to 25th 6:30pm - 8:00pm
• Closing Ceremony - Wednesday March 6th

This year's shuso (head student) will be
Shin-yu Scott Allen supported by benji (shuso's assistant) Ikushun Desire Webster.
