 Samu
Samu - Zen work - is a key part of the Zen Buddhist practice tradition. Harmonizing body and mind we sweep, repair, and tend the temple.
Please join the Red Cedar Zen Sangha for a joyful full morning of working together on all of the 1st Saturdays of the month from April through October (except in June this year as we swapped weeks with BIMS)
Note that the May work day also overlaps the Zen Sewing Weekend Retreat if you have Zen sewing or repairs to do that will be available, please contact Chris Burkhart at chrisburkhart@hotmail.com with questions.
Also we will not have doanryo training this time so we can focus more resources on the back garden. Please wear your gardening clothes if you can help out back!
Feel free to bring your ideas and sangha projects, including training, some tools, a little food to share for either breakfast or lunch, but most importantly: just bring yourself.
