Our 4-day sesshin with Guiding Teacher Nomon Tim Burnett and Ordained Teacher Shudo Chris Burkhart.
The practice of sesshin is a powerful opportunity including alternating sitting and walking meditation, a Dharma Talk, dokusan with the teachers, formal oryoki meals, breaks, and afternoon tea.
The retreat ends with the Shosan Dharma Questions Ceremony on Sunday at 11am. All in the practice period are warmly invited to this ceremony.
Schedule: Wednesday 7pm - 9pm, Thursday 6am - 9pm, Friday 6am - 9pm, Saturday 6am - 9pm, Sunday 6am - 3pm
Attendance: Full time attendance is preferred. Part time attendance is also fine but please commit to full days (do not come and go during a given day).
Other Options: you may come to the Dharma Talks Thursday - Saturday morning at 10:30am. Please come to the Shosan Dharma Questions Ceremony on Sunday at 11am.
Oryoki: please bring a 3-bowl oryoki eating set. They can be purchased from our friends at Still Sitting for a reasonable rate.
Housing: We will try to assist with housing for out of town retreatants, you may request housing in the registration process. Have a space guest room? Please let us know. There are a number of spots available to sleep at the zendo.
Registration: You can Register Directly for this sesshin OR use the overall Practice Period Registration to describe your intentions for practice period and register for each of the events you will be attending during Practice Period.
