Join Guiding Teacher Nomon Tim Burnett as he puts on his mindfulness teacher hat and shares a day of guided practices in the modern mindfulness tradition.
During this day-long retreat, Tim will lead us in a sequence of guided meditation and mindfulness practices including: awareness of breathing, the body scan, walking meditation, gentle mindful yoga, and contemplative practices like the loving-kindness meditation. The day is punctuated with poetry and encouragement to settle deeply into the present moment.
Schedule: 9am to 4pm, online via Zoom. The day includes time away from the screen doing walking meditation as well as a mid-day break for lunch.
In addition to being Red Cedar Zen’s Guiding Teacher, Tim is the Executive Director of Mindfulness Northwest. He is a certified teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Mindful Self-Compassion.
