Our focus of study for the Winter 2021 practice period will be The Diamond Sutra, one of the earliest known Mahayana Buddhist writings. It is part of the genre of Prajnaparamita (perfection of wisdom) sutras, sometimes called “the emptiness teachings”.
Our shuso, Seiu Hannah Sullivan, will lead a weekly exploration of the work and how it can relate to our daily lives. We’ll read the poetry, talk together, and share the unknown.
