Please join Shuso Ikushun Desiree Webster as she guides us on a study of several of the fundamental teachings of the Buddha through the clear guidance and deep understanding of Thich Nhat Hanh and others. The classes will include a bit of flavor from the Plum Village Tradition including a few songs and gathas.
She will also offer some creative tools for exploring our practice including some “journal play” at our February 4th workshop (not for “artists” only!).
Required Text: The Heart of the Buddha’s Teaching by Thich Nhat Hanh (either edition).
Schedule: Six Monday evenings January 23rd - February 27th from 7-8:30 pm plus a workshop Saturday on February 4th 10am-noon with potluck lunch to follow.
We encourage you to make a commitment to attend all or at least most classes so we can develop community around our dharma study.
