Laying our Floor in Cloud Hall

The big joyful push to the build out of our new home continues! Please come if you can on this newly scheduled work day on Saturday May 3rd.

Flooring Laying will be the primary task. Last weekend we completely laid our Zendo floor. We discovered a big push with a large group of workers on Saturday plus a smaller crew finishing up on Sunday morning worked great.

These are simple snap-together floors - it's easy to learn how to help. You must be able to get up and down off the floor and work kneeling.

Gear: please bring, if you have them, tape measure, knee pads, rubber mallet or hammer.

Lunch: if you can stay into the afternoon please bring a lunch. We are planning full 9am to 4pm days, but any amount of time you can spend is a big help.

Timing: Arriving later than the start time is just fine. Please come when you can in the 9am - 4pm window.  And please RSVP and indicate your best guess and when you'll be there to help our facilitators in planning.

Location: The new zendo is at 2509 Cedarwood, Bellingham, WA, near the intersection of Cedarwood and Northwest Avenue.
