Florence Caplow, a founding member of Red Cedar, is a Zen priest, Unitarian Universalist minister, the co-editor of The Hidden Lamp: Stories from Twenty-Five Centuries of Awakened Women, and the co-author of a new book, Tend to Your Spirit: Mindful Living With Chronic Illness.

This 2pm reading and book signing is preceded by a Zen Dharma talk by Florence at 11am for Red Cedar Zen Community (see the Sunday morning schedule).

Books will be available for purchase at the book reading.

From a recent review of the Tend to Your Spirit:

An incredible collection of diverse voices sharing their experiences of living with chronic illness, along with beautiful color illustrations and tools to tend to our spirits. This book reminds us of how human we all are, how we each have a story to share, and offers guidance for working through the seasons of illness and life.
