Join us for our first in person retreat in two years culminating in a Lay Entrustment ceremony for Heigaku Talus Latona
Hybrid Event: You may register to be present in person or on Zoom for either the full day or joining us at 3pm for the ceremony.
Join the community for an in person/online hybrid Zen sesshin (formal retreat) culminating with a Lay Entrustment Ceremony for Heigaku Talus Latona at 3pm.
Guiding Teacher Nomon Tim Burnett will give a Dharma talk on the precepts and the meaning of Lay Entrustment.
Donations to the teacher are invited.
7 am - 3 pm Sesshin silent meditation retreat with a breaks for lunch and breakfast. Please bring food and/or plan on going to Haggen across the street. The full schedule is available here.
3 pm Lay Entrustment Ceremony Please join us in this celebration of Talus’s long practice and service to the community.
Registration is required for the sesshin (7am-5pm) or the ceremony (3pm-5pm). Your registration also indicates whether you will attend in person at Bellingham Shambhala Center or online via our Zoom Zendo.
