Practice Period Opening Ceremony

An important sangha evening with meditation and ceremony to open our annual 8-week Winter Practice Period and consider our intentions for practice during this time.

After zazen there are two connected events.

First we support our Shuso (head student) Shin-yu Scott Allen as he is invited by Nomon Tim Burnett to be our shuso.

Secondly, all practice period students are invited to state their intentions.

Registration: please use the online Practice Period Overall registration to describe your intentions for practice period. And note that separate registrations are required for whichever of the following practice period events you'll be attending:

• Continuing our Maturity (Shuso's Class)
  
• Practice Period Opening Sesshin
  
• Practice Period Closing Sesshin
  
• Introduction to Zen Meditation
